FAQs

  • We are open by reservation only. We are open 7 days a week and our summer and winter hours differ with the light changes. During the summer, the studio can be rented from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. During the winter, the studio can be rented from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

  • Studio rentals are $45 per hour. Your booking time includes set up and tear down/clean up, so please be mindful of the time so that the studio is ready for the next guest. If you're wanting to use the seamless paper backdrops, please be sure to select this Add-On during booking for $15!

  • Events are $75 per hour and include use & set up of tables and chairs for up to 30 people. Events must be inquired about with studio owner prior to booking.

  • Cancellations and no-shows are nonrefundable.

  • All reschedules will incur a rescheduling fee of $15. You may only reschedule your booking if you give more than 24 hours notice. Any notice given less than 24 hours in advance is non-refundable. A new date must be selected within 48 hours and is subject to availability of the studio.

  • Street parking is available but limited in close proximity to the entrances of Fealty Studio. Please follow City of Ash Grove traffic rules when parking. We do NOT have studio reserved parking.

  • We have front door entrance along Main Street. When you book the studio, a host will be there to unlock the door for you. If you’re a member, you may get access to a lockbox code for your rental.

  • Any late arrivals will cut into your studio rental period. Set up and clean up time must be factored into your rental time. It is the Client(s) responsibility to clean the space and return items to their original location. A fee of $15 for every 15 minutes overstayed will incur.

  • Hourly rentals include full use of the studio, including our prop closet, furniture, changing area, bathrooms, and external lighting. The seamless paper backdrops are NOT included, but can be added to your rental!

  • We have many items available for you to style your sessions at the studio. This includes, but is not limited, to:

    - Furniture (different styles of chairs, sofas, and tables)

    - Rugs

    - Pillows, blankets

    - We have a full newborn set available (pillows, newborn bed, muslins, wraps)

    - Vintage items (old cameras, records, books)

    - Seasonal florals

    - Fun extras (disco ball, stone columns, seasonal decor)

  • Yes! As long as the calendar is showing availability, you can book up to a full day at the studio for your photoshoots. However, if this is for an event, please note we do not allow booking of the studio in this way. Events must be inquired about prior to booking.

  • We are a natural light studio and that means we boast A LOT of natural sunlight coming through our windows during all daytime hours when the sun is out.

    For overcast and rainy days, you can plan on dim even lighting throughout the studio.

    When it’s sunny, morning is typically best for even light. In the afternoon we get direct sunlight streaming in, and around sunset we get a nice golden glow. Please check our Instagram highlight “Time Stamps” to see how the lighting is at different times of the day!

  • No, you must book your own photographer or use your phone! If you need suggestions on a photographer, we have many talented artists we can recommend!

  • The courtyard attached to our studio is another event space called The Gathering Ground. You can book both the courtyard and studio for your session, subject to availability! The Gathering Ground is a beautiful space with privacy fencing, lush grass, aged brick walls, and dreamy market lights.

House Rules

We love that everyone can feel free to come inside the studio to create something of their very own! We truly hope you treat this space kindly, but we do have policies in place to ensure our studio is kept clean, safe, and undamaged.

No Open Flame

Candles can be fun and beautiful, but flameless flickering candles can add to the ambience without fire risk!

No wires, nails, screws, or staples.

We have concrete/plaster walls, so it goes without saying that they aren’t ideal for hanging decor! You may use tape / command strips on the walls to hang pieces from. We also ask that you not use tape on the paper backdrops, as it will rip the backdrop.

Set Up / Clean Up

Please be mindful of your rental time, as it includes all set up and clean up. A cleaning fee of $75 will incur if you leave an excessively messy studio. For late departures, we reserve the right to charge the card on file $15 for every 15 minutes overstayed.

No Glitter (Confetti is OK!)

We know glitter sticks around far longer than you’d anticipate, so to ensure our props and floors are clean for the next guests, we ask that you bring large paper confetti only!

No Boudoir

We have a large wall of street-front windows and also share a bathroom space with an event venue. Because of our lack of total privacy, we do not allow boudoir photography.

Cancellations & Reschedules

No-shows and cancellations are non-refundable. Reschedules MUST be given a 24 hour notice prior to original booking time and will incur a rescheduling fee of $15. A new rental time must be selected within 48 hours of the original booking period.

Food and Drink

You are welcome to bring food and drinks inside the studio, but we ask that you keep it to the tables and hardwood floors for easy clean up for any spills. Please be mindful of where your children spread their snacks!

No Pets

Trust me, we love dogs!! However, we cannot ensure another guest’s allergies, and our rugs can be so tempting as potty spaces to our pets.

Damages

If any furniture or prop items are damaged or stolen, we reserve the right to charge the card on file for the replacement cost of the item.
